Cash-in-lieu of Parking Review
Posted: December 14th, 2008 | Author: westwellington | Filed under: News | No Comments »| The City of Ottawa is in the process of reviewing the cash-in-lieu of parking process that is currently in place in the former cities of Ottawa and Vanier. Public consultations are being held to solicit options for renewal and amendment of the process. This policy primarily affects downtown properties and neighbourhoods.
Following the consultations, staff will finalize the preferred option and bring forward a report with recommendations for modifying the cash-in-lieu of parking process to Planning and Environment Committee and City Council. The preferred option will be put in place in the summer or fall of 2009.
